The Write One

This group is intended for writers who enjoy writing but also seek validation through publication. Genres include commercial fiction, literary fiction, flash fiction and/or novellas. The purpose of this group is for critique and manuscript review with the objective of getting the work published.

              Members must leave their egos at the door. Critique and manuscript review is intended to be direct and focused on the basic tenets of good writing, from plot and structure to scene setting, characterization, dialogue, transitions, paragraph and sentence construction and other elements of well-chosen prose. However, criticism must be accompanied by positive and constructive suggestions for change.

              To join, potential members must have prior workshop experience and at least one publication. Interested participants should send a brief biography.
