Unstoppable!

UNSTOPPABLE will be a meet-up neighborhood for a small group of super-senior writers aged 80 and older of all genres. Once underway, we'll use our corner of the P&W Group website to exchange messages, share our writing, receive constructive criticism (when requested), discuss craft, and, for those seeking them, make accountability partnerships.

All of Unstoppable's "business" will be transacted on the P&W Group website. (At this time, we've no plans to utilize video, e.g., Zoom.)

To join Unstoppable, you needn't have an MFA or a history of published writing. What is desirable, however, is past attendance at writing workshops, a regular writing practice, and a goal or goals for what you'd like to accomplish with your writing.

As writers "of a certain age," we'll try not to dwell on subjects that so many of our peers find unavoidable, like the impenetrability of 21st-century technology, how wonderful life "used to be," the aches and pains of growing older, and the need for too many doctors and the taking of too many pills. Instead, as Unstoppable writers, we will strive to mine a broader range and deeper depth of the human experience. There's plenty of richness –– besides texting and TikTok –– in having lived for more than a half-century. It's time that richness was shared with the world.

That, in a nutshell, is Unstoppable's mission.
