About the Group
'Publishing is a decision, not luck.' Join us if you are considering creating and publishing a chapbook. This can begin with just an idea. You might have poems already written, but you might also want to write the chapbook as a series from an idea that is still forming in your mind. There are all kinds of chapbooks, from 6 pages (micro chap) to 40. The norm is around 20 pages. We will discuss the different possibilities and opportunities for publishing. We will critique individual poems and examine how the poems work together. I recently published a chapbook, "Girl/Fool," with Bottlecap Press, and I am excited to begin the next one in the community.
