Mosaic Poetry & Publication

This group will meet online once a month for 60-90 minutes at a time arranged by members (but during daytime or early evening hours in the Central time zone) to share and critique drafts of poems with the goal of submitting them for publication. Members will alternate submitting drafts. Two designated members will email 1-3 poems to all members at least a week before the upcoming (monthly) meeting. Members will read and write comments on the submitted poems before the meeting, then discuss their comments during the meeting. They will email their written comments to the poets after the meeting. I will facilitate organizing and running meetings, but all members will be equal contributors. 

Support, recommended reading, prompts, and writing process may also be discussed, according to the group's interest and time. We'll develop our skills and build our publishing credits by learning from each other and, if desired, by reading and discussing lauded poets.

This group is for people who write and speak in English who have had poems or other writing published in at least one literary journal, edited collection, chapbook, or book-length work.
