About the Group
Limited to six writers, the focus of this group will be on writing and responding to flash writing both fiction and creative nonfiction. The world of flash can be divided into what is known as microfiction/creative nonfiction. Micro writing is usually considered to be writing under 500 words and Flash or Sudden fiction/creative nonfiction falls between 700-1000 words.
We will meet through Zoom, bimonthly on Fridays, from 2:00-3:30 EST where we will read and respond to each other’s work as well as do a bit of writing.
The link to the group will be available closer to the date, and will be found in the class dashboard.
You’ll be asked to post a writing project in the class dashboard at least a day (but preferably more) in advance of the meeting. If you need some assistance posting your work, Carol will meet with you via Zoom to show you how. We will also screen-share at the first meeting to demonstrate the protocol.
