Another Poetry Critique Group + Reading Practice

Each meeting is anchored by a poem from an established poet, offered as inspiration, or a lens (or just for your reading pleasure), read before we meet synchronously for a critique of our own poems.

Participants can upload their poems to the group folder the day before the meeting. While meeting times are flexible and adjust to the availability of the group, for now, we will be meeting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 5pm Eastern. Discussion of reading assignment ~10 minutes max. The rest of the time is dedicated to critiquing poems.

The day before the meeting, I will send you a published poem (i.e. read this Basil Bunting excerpt and tune in to the force of monosyllables...) These poets may or not be way into our own poems, but I think keeping a regular reading practice is invaluable for a writing practice.
